This monograph is devoted to the study of the influence of typological determinants on the specifics of word-formation systems of the Russian and Uzbek languages. The dependence of the word-formation systems of the compared languages on the set of their grammatical categories is determined.
Correlations between the morphology and word formation of the Russian and Uzbek languages have been revealed. The base of derivative words in the Russian and Uzbek languages as a reflection of part-speech systems has been studied.
