Faculty Dean Responsibilities:

- Oversee the overall operations and staff management of the faculty.

- Ensure the training of qualified specialists by directly supervising educational, methodological, scientific, and moral-educational activities, while ensuring compliance with state educational standards, curricula, and teaching plans.

- Organize the creation of class schedules and monitor their execution, ensuring that student performance and attendance are regularly checked, that rating control is maintained, and that disciplinary control is established.

- Prepare draft orders regarding the promotion of students from one course to another.

-  Prepare recommendations for student scholarships.

- Organize and oversee students' thesis defenses and participation in state certification procedures.

- Identify talented students and organize individual, targeted activities to support them, preparing them for participation in subject olympiads and various competitions (including international ones).

- Coordinate the training of internship researchers and the professional development of faculty members.

- Manage and coordinate the preparation of textbooks, educational, and methodological guides for the faculty’s academic programs.

- Ensure the integration of new information technologies into the educational process and the training of faculty in these technologies.

- Manage the activities of the Faculty Scientific Council.

- Organize and conduct scientific and methodological conferences, inter-departmental meetings, and seminars on relevant topics, involving faculty and students.

- Collaborate with the university's marketing service to study the existing and future demand for specialties and establish relationships with organizations, enterprises, and institutions seeking specialists, ensuring graduates’ employment opportunities through targeted agreements and providing practical recommendations.

- Establish cooperation with other higher education and scientific institutions, including those from developed foreign countries.

- Organize independent additional educational services within the faculty (e.g., centers, courses, etc.), attract grants and investments, and ensure active participation of faculty members and students.

- Organize educational activities in student dormitories.

- Address any applications within the scope of authority.

Required Knowledge:

-  A comprehensive understanding of the laws related to faculty operations, decisions made by the Cabinet of Ministers, decisions made by the Ministry's Board, orders from the university rector, and the university’s annual and strategic plans.

Qualification Requirements:

- Possess the necessary professional and organizational skills required for management positions in higher education institutions, including leadership experience and relevant expertise within the scope of duties and responsibilities.

- Demonstrate exemplary personal qualities, such as intellect, cultural awareness, leadership, creativity, politeness, organizational skills, initiative, and entrepreneurial abilities. Additionally, possess a sense of responsibility, the ability to make independent decisions, take firm actions, and ensure the achievement of the institution’s strategic goals.

- Hold a doctoral or candidate of sciences degree in one of the university’s bachelor or master's programs, or possess a professorship or associate professorship title.

- Have at least 5 years of effective work experience in the relevant field of the faculty’s specialization.
