As part of the “Student Theater Days” project, an excerpt from Abdulla Qodiriy’s “Bygone Days” was staged at the Urgut branch of SamSU.

For your information, “Bygone Days” is the first novel in Uzbek literature by Uzbek writer Abdulla Qodiriy. In 1969, the film “Bygone Days” was shot based on this novel at the “Uzbekfilm” film studio. The writer was inspired by the works of the Arab writer Jurji Zaydon when writing the novel. The novel was written in the early 1920s, first published in the “Inqilob” magazine in 1922, and published as a separate book in 1926.

A round table discussion was organized at the Urgut branch of SamSU on the topic “The role of the army in educating students in the spirit of patriotism”. 

The event was opened by the first deputy director of the branch for youth issues and spiritual and educational work, Zikrillo Yazdonov, with an introductory speech and introduced the participants to the students. The round table discussion was attended by the director’s advisor, Sanjar Eshonkulov, teachers of the Junior Specialist Training Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Lieutenant Colonel Bakhtiyor Ahmedov, Major Sanjar Nabiev, and students. 
The speakers at the event realized that protecting the inviolability of the borders of our Motherland is the duty of not only the army, but also every citizen with a fire in their hearts. The students received answers to their questions. During the event, a conversation was held with members of the public group of the “Shield” department, and relevant suggestions and recommendations were made.

        At this point it can be said that what is the mystery of "Teshiktosh"? First of all, it is a natural wonder. Under the influence of erosion and winds, a beautiful and fascinating work of art was created from the stone. That is, it has not been processed by humans. Someone compares this stone to the head of two huge dinosaurs colliding, while someone else compares it to a human heart. It is known that such stones can be seen only in a few countries of the world. This stone differs from other famous stones on earth by its structure, size and weight. Some sources report that this solid stone is more than 2.5 million years old.
Most of the tourists coming to Samarkand from different parts of the world express their desire to see this natural wonder in Urgut. Therefore, the opportunities of ecotourism and ethnotourism are embodied in "Teshiktosh".
         Above, we did not dwell on the desire of travel enthusiasts for nothing. Indeed, we can see that their interest in "Teshiktosh" is growing from the number of visitors here. This creates the need to further improve conditions and amenities for them. For this purpose, at the same time, efforts are being made to preserve the monument, which is included in the list of cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, and to expand the use of its touristic opportunities.
        "Teshiktosh" tourist resort was created in the vicinity of the ancient natural monument, on an area of   55 hectares. Guest houses and gardens for tourists are being restored here. A number of projects are being implemented to turn Maskan into a real recreation center. For example, thousands of pistachio and almond trees are planted and cared for in the area.

Before the IBSA international para-judo grand prix tournament, a roundtable discussion was organized with the medalist Uljon Amriyevalar at the Urgut branch of SamSU

      Branch director Kuvondik Yarashev opened the roundtable with an introduction and congratulated Uljon Amriyeva for recording a historic result and becoming the first gold medalist won by Uzbek para-judokas in grand prix tournaments.

      Speaking about the results achieved by the athlete and his goals in the future, he admitted: "If a person works really hard, he will definitely achieve his goal." During the interview, students received answers to the questions they were interested in.

In the competition, students competed in four conditions:
